Intro to Contortion Presses Week 2: Bridge Presses
Are you working on your inversions but presses still feel elusive or uncontrolled? It may surprise you, but presses are much more about specific technique than flexibility alone. This intensive will drill the basics of contortion presses, but it will also give you some stepping stones towards more advanced presses such as croc lever and Mexican Press (for those ready for it).
Whether you’re a beginner wanting to learn the steps towards a press or you can press but want to clean up your technique so as to be able to work on more advanced presses, this is for you!
Week 1: Proper Warm Up Of Hips, Upper Back, Neck For Presses, Split Press, Contortion Side Press, Middle Split Press
Week 2: Bridge + Elbow bridge Press, One Leg Bridge Press
Week 3: Presses continued, Basics of Advanced Presses Like Croc Lever and Mexican presses.
Pre-reqs: Able to balance an elbowstand or handstand with the wall and a comfortable bridge.
